I just dropped my
iPhone on the tile floor and cracked the screen, again. I will wait until we
are state side for a repair. We started the trip with three IPhones, four iPads
and one Kindle. This is the tech carnage tally thus far...I have had my iPhone
screen replaced 3- 4 times. Laos was by far the cheapest screen repair at
$70.00. In one week in Vietnam Jim dropped his iPhone in the ocean, cracked his
iPad screen and smashed his Kindle. He replaced his IPad screen himself and
sort of works however both the iPhone and Kindle were declared dead and he just
carries the bodies around in a ziplock bag. John left his iPad on a bus in
Japan and miraculously it was found and sent to us in Laos.
